MBK and MSK October Month In Review

The October Month in Review Video for the My Brother's Keeper (MBK) and My Sister's Keeper (MSK) programs is a celebration of the incredible experiences and opportunities that these programs are providing to young people of color across the country. One of the highlights of the video is the visit of Poly High School to American Airlines, which was sponsored by the American Airlines Black Professional Network. During this visit, the students were able to get an inside look at the airline industry, including the various job roles and responsibilities involved in keeping planes flying. This experience provided a valuable opportunity for the students to learn about potential career paths and gain inspiration for their own futures. Another exciting event highlighted in the video is the Wifi organization outing to the Monster Truck Rally. This fun and engaging event gave young people the chance to connect with peers and experience something new and exciting. Through these types of outings, MBK and MSK are providing young people with opportunities to build social skills, make new friends, and explore the world around them. Finally, the video also highlights the Northside High School Camping Trip, which provided students with an opportunity to connect with nature and build important skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. Through these types of outdoor experiences, MBK and MSK are helping young people to develop important life skills and build their confidence. Overall, the October Month in Review Video is a testament to the incredible impact of the MBK and MSK programs in the lives of young people of color. Through their commitment to education, mentorship, and providing unique and engaging experiences, these programs are helping to shape the futures of countless young people and empowering them to reach their full potential.
